About Me:
Education has always been a huge priority for me. I spent most of my childhood with just my mom, my sister, and my grandma. Ever since I was very young I remember my mom telling me that school is the thing in my life I should always take seriously, and I have carried that mindset with me ever since. The trick I used is to find the things you enjoy about it and carry an optimistic attitude for everything you do. Whenever I am facing a difficult time, I just try to relax and ensure to myself that I can overcome it. I also ensure that I make time for the things I really enjoy doing in life, like going to the gym, playing basketball, skateboarding, and spending time with my friends and family.
Another thing I have learned about thriving in education is having people to help me along the way, because I could not have done it on my own. Sometimes just knowing that you have that backup is enough to keep you going. Having support is a very important thing that has led me to the place I am in today and I hope I can provide students with that to help them succeed!
