How to Use Permission Codes

Permission codes will:

• Allow you to enroll in a class that requires instructor permission
• Override any course prerequisites

Permission codes won’t work if you:

• Are trying to use it before your enrollment appointment
• Have a hold on your account
• If the class conflicts with the day/time of another class you’re enrolled in
• Or if you’re trying to enroll in more than 19 units and its before the first day of classes. After the first day of classes, you can use a permission code to enroll in more than 19 units
