Stephanie Casher graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Education.  After graduation, she became a staff member on campus, and now with eleven years of service under her belt, currently works as a Committee Analyst in the Academic Senate.  In addition to her work for the University, Stephanie nurtures her creative spirit and passion for the written word by moonlighting as a writer and freelance editor.  In December 2009, Stephanie partnered with two fellow writers to start their own publishing company, The Pantheon Collective (TPC), LLC

TPC published its first novel, SELLOUT by James W. Lewis (TPC Books, 2010) in June 2010.  SELLOUT explores how racial prejudice and stereotypes impact the relationships of three individuals from different backgrounds. In their quest to find what they think is missing in their lives, they encounter guilt, fear, and struggles they never anticipated… including murder.  Available now from amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and locally at Bookshop Santa Cruz, SELLOUT has been getting rave reviews.

In November 2010, TPC Books released Stephanie’s debut novel, WHEN LOVE ISN’T ENOUGH.  Set here at UC Santa Cruz, with a multicultural cast of characters, WHEN LOVE ISN’T ENOUGH explores what happens when life and circumstances conspire to interrupt the path of true love. It is a heartbreaking tale of true love, terrible timing, impossible choices, and how you find the strength to go on when you discover that, sometimes, love just isn’t enough…  The sequel, SOUL MATES, is scheduled for release in Summer 2011.

In addition to publishing multicultural fiction, The Pantheon Collective (TPC) also provides author services such as editing, typesetting, custom marketing plans, bookkeeping tutorials, and consulting in all areas of the publishing process.  Their mission is to inspire and empower authors to get their work in print.
