About Me:

After the 2008 recession, the next ten years were filled with moving from town to town and only when I entered college could I finally appreciate the sacrifices my parents made for their children. No matter where we were at, my parents always stressed the importance of education. It is a privilege to be in higher education and I credit them and their never ending support as the reason I am here. Moreover, they wanted me to enjoy life, not just let it pass by. They filled my life with music, dance, theatre, and sports, many of which I continue today. You don't have to be the best at the things you love doing. However, doing the things you love makes living worth it. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to study at UCSC and am excited to work with my peers in this community so that we all can call ourselves UCSC graduates one day.
